Camping Series
The Camping Series meets the following criteria:
The tent fabric is equipped with a fluorocarbon PFC)-free water-repellent impregnation (DWR) on the outside of the fly sheet.
PFC stands for per- and polyfluorinated chemicals. PFCs have water-oil dirt-repellent properties and are often used for shell fabrics. Many PFCs are persistent, meaning they do not self- degrade but have to be burned at extremely high temperatures. Via water, air and nutrition the tracks are spreading around the world.
Fluorocarbon-free DWR finishes are often not as durable as conventional PFC-containing DWR finishes. Therefore, a re-impregnation is necessary from time to time. Please use a fluorocarbon-free impregnation.
Advanced Low Vent System
Our product developers are ventilation fanatics and developed the new ground level ventilation ADVANCED LOW VENT SYSTEM. Functional ground level ventilation for all climate conditions is of central significance.
The ADVANCED LOW VENT SYSTEM is a highly effective ground level ventilation circulating air throughout the floor area on two sides. The extra space between outer tent and inner tent minimizes condensation. ADVANCED LOW VENT SYSTEM can be activated by opening the mesh cover from inside and store the cover easy in the cover garage. Cool idea to handle the ADVANCED LOW VENT SYSTEM from the inner tent by zip-opening. The ventilation system can comfortably be adjusted from your cozy High Peak sleeping bag.
